ABOUT ME
Personally:
My name is Brooke Woodstock and I live in Augusta, Michigan. I am married with no children or pets. This freedom allows us to do something my husband and I love: go to concerts! We are also both huge MSU football and basketball fans (especially basketball!) Outside of that, I am passionate about reading. I don't leave the house without my Kindle and/or a book. Lastly, I am a proud aunt of twin fraternal nieces. They bring such joy to our family!
Professionally:
I graduated from Western Michigan University in December of 2006 with my Bachelor of Arts in Education with a concentration of English in Secondary Education. From there I did a short stint in substitute teaching but decided instead to continue with my full time retail position in management while looking for teaching openings. While the opportunities were slim my passion for education never left me which is how I ended up working for the Student and Community Service Division at Kellogg Community College in the Records and Registration department. Although I'm happy and fortunate to be in my position, I am looking forward to learning more and challenging myself in different educational arenas.
